Kamal Gautam, an International Coordinator representing Nobel College successfully completed Open Disussion Program on Youth and Migration on 9th April 2014, at Nobel College, Sinamangal.

27 young students studying Bachelors in Public Health actively participated in the discussion program that was aimed at learning and sharing the information on various issues of Youth and Migration. The discussion also focused on today’s youth issues and the overwhelming rate of youth migration in Nepal. Moreover migration and health was also inter-related through the discussion. HIV/AIDS, Swine Flu are the major diseases that are increasing due to migration.

During discussion some of the participant said that migration is helping Nepal to increase the remittance. In opposite of this many of the participant argue that the remittance is being wasted without using that in developmental activities.

The participants concluded the program with their views for preventing the Youth Brain drain.
