FIFTY (50) IN-SCHOOL YOUTHS WERE TRAINED AS PEER-EDUCATORS ON SANITATION AND HYGIENE IN SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT. THEREAFTER, THEY BECAME CERTIFIED ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH EDUCATOR, AND WERE GIVEN A MANDATE TO REACH-OUT TO TEN (10) PEERS EACH. ALSO, A YOUTH CLUB NAMED ‘ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH CLUB’ WAS INAUGURATED IN THE SCHOOL, AND WEEKLY MEETINGS WILL BE HELD IN THE SCHOOL. FINALLY, WASTE-BINS WERE PROVIDED AT STRATEGIC PLACES WITHIN THE SCHOOL, AS A PROJECT CARRIED-OUT BY THE PEER-EDUCATORS.
